Romeo and Juliet - The Movie The new release of Romeo and Juliet is fun, fast and exciting to watch. It is a slick cinematic rendition of Shakespeare's work brought to the screen for contemporary movie-goers. There is something for everyone in this movie. A timeless story, a dynamic cast, a hip soundtrack, great sets and costumes and plenty of action. From the beginning the audience is told," buckle up, this Romeo and Juliet ride is going to be like no other Shakespeare you've ever ridden." This movie supports the notion that the stage is an actor's medium and the cinema is the director's. Romeo and Juliet is a feast for the eyes and does a great job of engaging the audience with the story at all times through various cinematic techniques and tricks which make understanding Shakespeare fun, interesting, fresh and easy. Visually dynamic, and edited with a sense of urgency, most movie-goers will get caught up in the story and forget that they are listening to the Bard. It is Shakespeare's words and text, however, the sights and sounds are as clearly, possibly overshadowing, telling the same parallel story. One could say that there are visually emotional subtitles throughout the movie directing the audience to understand and engage in the most famous love story in an entirely new way. One can argue that this version of Romeo and Juliet would be understood even without spoken words. The camera-work tells the story as clearly as the text. There are very few moments in this movie when the camera stops moving. Like Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers the editing is fierce and in your face. There is little time to think as the perpetual images flash across the screen. And it works. You become entranced and cannot wait to see what happens next even if you are already familiar with the story. It feels new. Like many contemporary Shakespeare productions, the text has been slightly edited but this does nothing to dilute the story. The dialogue, for the most part, is not delivered by master thespians, rather, we hear contemporary film actors delivering the Bard's words as though this were present day English in New York or Los Angeles.

The law demands for emergency services to work with one another, in order for this to happen a plan is in place already, which gives a framework that, could be used if an emergency arises, so that each service is aware of what their roles will be. We are here to say goodbye to our two lovers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. These two young teenagers were deeply in love with each other, but sadly died at a very young age. Although fate has already accomplished its deed, we can still remember the legacy Romeo and Juliet have left at such a tender age. We are here today to celebrate the life of Romeo. Romeo was a kind, handsome, intelligent, and sensitive boy. He always tried to make things right. He is not at all interested in violence. Romeo was a very impulsive person. He was impulsive when he wanted to get married to Juliet very quickly, some may even say too quickly. His only interest is love. When he first laid eyes on Juliet, he had already fallen in love with her. This was a bit of a problem because both families were not the best of friends. Romeo had changed immensely and became a whole new person over the last few weeks of his life. We are also here to celebrate the life of Juliet. Juliet was a beautiful, young woman from the Capulet Family. She was born almost 14 short years ago into the house of Capulet. She has had her ups and downs with her families. Given the sacrifices of Juliet, we all hope that the hatred and violence between her house and the house of her lover, Romeo of the Montague family will end permanently. It is sad that she has been taken to heaven today. In the streets of Verona, let the families learn to keep the Peace. For look at what happened to dear Juliet. May you rest in peace, sweet Juliet. On February 12, 2001 he was named the new CEO of Enron, replacing Ken Lay. Later in 2001, during the energy crisis in California; Skilling resigned on August 14 and shortly after he sold off large blocks of his shares of Enron. Enron declared bankruptcy in December 2001. The Federal Bureau of Investigations indicted Skilling on 35 charges, which he pleaded not guilty on February 19, 2004(wikipedia. org). His trial began on January 30, 2006 and lasted four months. On May 25, 2006 he was found guilty on one count of conspiracy, one count of insider trading, five counts of making false statements to auditors, and twelve counts of securities fraud; and not guilty on nine counts of insider trading(wikipedia. org). October 23, 2006 Skilling was sentenced to 24 years and 4 months in a federal prison and was fined 45 million dollars. Skilling began serving his prison term on December 13, 2006 at a low security federal prison in Littleton, Colorado. His release date is scheduled for February 21, 2028 according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
